15yr Anniversary!!!

Doug and I have been married for 15 years today. We have been through a lot over the years and it has only made us stronger. Doug is a peace maker and is very patient where I have a strong opinion at times and struggle with my patients . I like to think for the most part we balance each other out. Well ......Doug balances me ........FINE!  when he is around.  I do love him with all my heart and we really do have a great marriage. Doug has always found things to help out. With him being in a lot of pain this last year and it has been a struggle but he still will find things that he can do for me to help out.  I enjoy spending time with him and I pray for many more years together. Here are two of my favorite quotes.

"How sweet is the assurance, how comforting is the peace that come from the knowledge that if we marry right and live right, our relationship will continue, notwithstanding the certainty of death and the passage of time. Men may write love songs and sing them. They may yearn and hope and dream. But all of this will be only a romantic longing unless there is an exercise of authority that transcends the powers of time and death."
--Gordon B. Hinckley

"The secret of a happy marriage is to serve God and each other. The goal of marriage is unity and oneness, as well as self-development. Paradoxically, the more we serve one another, the greater is our spiritual and emotional growth."
--Ezra Taft Benson

Last weekend my sister and her husband took their girls to Disney Land and left the baby with me. There is no way that we were going to let them have all the fun so I decided to send them some pics of Carsen having fun. Disney Land Walmart style!

He ate Mickey's Hand....

 He met Woody.....
Fell in love with (?) a princess... sorry I don't know my characters.
Riding Simba.... It had a tag with a name.
A picture with Miney....
Rode the Tea Cups.  Ummm these cups looked a lot bigger in the brochure.

We even hit the beach.
I'm lame I know. I got a lot of weird looks but I figure there are a lot of crazy people that wonder that store what was one more? Right?  Don't matter, we had fun.

Super Cross BABY!!!!

I love to play in the dirt

Ever since I was little I have always enjoyed playing in the dirt. I remember making gourmet hamburgers out of mud, grass and leaves. I would put them on Grandma Heaton's old charcoal grill that was conveniently places by the old red picnic table where my costumers would be seated. I would chat with my pretend costumers as I would cook their food. I didn't want to be rude.
I also made trenches and tunnels for the cars and there always seamed to be some kind of flood and I would fill them up with water.  Grandpa Blair (Don) always had trenches in his garden. He would place the hose in one spot and the water would follow along and water every single plant. It was so cool to me to watch the water go from plant to plant. Every year when I plant my garden I usually try to do something similar but I can never get it to water every plant.
It has been so warm and it has made me anxious to get out and play in the dirt gown-up style.  I have already planted my garden for the year so I'm now praying for no frost.
I still have some trenches to play in but to any untrained eye I'm just watering my garden.
