and ended up with this . . .

I made the ladder shorter and planted a small vine next to it but it needs time to grow. I will add pots and plants to it later.

Next I have my screen door. I've been looking for an old screen to put on my front door. I didn't have any luck but I found this one at Lowes.
It's not old but it works. I put a spring on it and you just pull it open and let it slam shut. I did put a hook on the inside to lock it because I like to vent my home in the mornings or after it rains. It didn't come with ant hardware so I needed a little help. Thanks Dad.

Thanks Dad.I also got a old bench from a friend and stained it and added it to my porch.

I took some pics of Dex and Caebri.

Last but not least I have my deck. I started this last year and I'm almost finished with it. I have some staining left to do but I was so excited I couldn't wait to show you. I even got on the roof to give you the whole picture. What I was worried about was the bench that ran along the one side but it turned out ok. Just don't look to close. Like I said it's not even cuz I eye balled most of it
but it makes my cutting skills feel right at home.
