My 7 things

Here are my 7 things that I hope you didn't know about me, but for you they will probably be confirmed. Enjoy my secrets.

  1. I have a fear of Balloons. Inner tubes are just as bad. I don't like eather of these around me. I get scared for those who choose to float down the raging river filled with lava rocks on inner tubes. If they pop wouldn't it hurt? I think there is a reason for the word inner in inner tube. I think my fear may have started when I was little. One day I was blowing up a big red balloon that I had blown up several times. I liked to see how much I could stretch it. Every time I filled it up it would get bigger. I ended up with very red cheeks that day after my balloon exploded. Once I was asked by my Cub Master to pick up 30 balloons for a Blue and Glod Banquet. I'm not about to tell a guy that I'm to scared to do something. So, I got tough and picked up the stupid balloons. I thought if I cracked the window next to me the wind would keep them away from me. R-R-RIGHT ! Big mistake. They all just swarmed around my head like, They k-n-e-w ! By the time I got home my hair was literally standing up from the static. I think the Cub Master knew my fear. Which brings me to # 2.

  2. I conduct a lot of electricty. This is another reason why I don't like balloons and have a hard time with computers. When I was little I liked to play telephone operator with tweezers and outlets. I blew a lot of brakers and have been shocked multiple times. My dad won't let me touch his computer unless I'm grounded.

  3. I really don't know that much about cars as I say I do. I don't even know how to change my oil. Most of the time I have been on the phone with a mechanic and I would unfortunately be one of those people that they portray in commercials. Making noises and whatnot. He would give me some car lingo and I still would be clueless, but I would be able to BS my way through a later conversation. Or at least I thought so? NOBODY TELL DOUG!

  4. I don't like to hold babies. I would rather look at them from afar. I didn't have a hard time with holding Caebri though. I don't like to push strollers either. The other day I needed to go to Dexton's school when I had Caebri. I had to put her in a stroller and when I started walking up the street I felt awkward and was hoping that nobody would see me. I didn't even walk behind the stroller. I walked along the side. I don't know what it is. . . . Hey Jules? Ya got some advice? So far we have a fear of air-filled-latex circles and holding young humans, oh, don't forget the inability to resist the urge to electrocute myself. Got noth'n? Nada? Maybe more will help.

  5. I've always wanted to dance Hip-Hop and possibly Break Dance. TRUE. I love music. When I see people dancing I have the hardest time not wanting to join them. Two of my favorite movies are Save the Last Dance I and II. When I was in 2nd grade during every recess I would sit and watch the older students take turns spinning on the cardboard boxes they brought from home. I thought it was cool the way they could get their bodies to move.

  6. I reall, really like the smell of Sharpies. One day I was in a workroom at the school drawing something for a teacher. I caught myself sniffing the marker. It smelled so good. I closed my eyes and everything. When I opened my eyes there were 2 sixth graders standing behind me. They laughed. Every time we saw each other they would say, "Hey, Mrs. Regi!" and pretend to be sniffing a marker. Other smells I like: Tire Shops, Shoe Stores,Lumber Isles and Paint. Awe!

  7. I tend to unconsciously pick up actions or accents of people I'm around. If you laugh or stand a certain way I will probably do the same. The hardest thing for me is accents. If you have an accent and I have been around you for a minute or two I will pick it up. I can't control it. If english is a second language for you, I would talk as if it were the same for me.
Thanks Misty for tagging me. I'm really excited that Lindsay is blogging. I just found her. I would like to see Lindsay's 7. I tag her! Anyone second that?

Regina you're awesome! I LOVE the smell of the auto parts store and Loews. I think it's from going to the store with my Dad when I was little. Come on over some time I'll teach you how to change your oil. (we'll trade you can teach me how to do my hair :)

That was fun to read :)
The accent thing, I think comes from the Blair side. I know Dave does it too, and maybe Anna? I love the smell of gasoline, but not diesel!

In my neighborhood, a bunch of moms took a hip hop class together. It was fun to see them perform, they looked just like hiphopping teenagers.

So funny... I also fear balloons when they are being blown up. I HATE the smell of tire stores but LOVE the smell of new cars inside and new dolls. I enjoyed finding out new things about you! I hope Linds and Janay respond to the tag!

So my professional opinion is...you're probably just fine. If you want a more personalized (and private) consult, you'll have to call me. I have some ideas...but I try to keep my online therapizing to a minimum. ;)
